The Coltrane 8-bulb pendant lamp from Hudson Valley Lighting is a bold statement capable of throwing light across a good-sized room.
The diamond-shaped enclosure is 73cm in height, excluding the chain, with the top in black textured metal, an aged brass band around the centre, and a transparent acrylic bottom.
Inside, the bulbs cluster above a reflective back plate. The design possibilities are broad. We can see this working well with both contemporary and retro themed décor, as a home dining room centrepiece or high above a speakeasy dancefloor.
It will probably work best with rich warm colours. Also available in other sizes.
